Effective date: 7 August 2026 Last updated: 7 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Digital Rapport Ltd (trading as digital rapport®), a company registered in England & Wales under company number 07788584 ("we", "us", "our"), collects and uses personal data when you use the Inspired Tribe website at inspiredtribe.io (the "Platform").
We are registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under data protection registration number ZA416088.
We are the data controller for the Platform itself. When you buy a Ticket, the relevant Organiser also becomes a controller of your data for their own Event and marketing purposes — see Section 4.
We comply with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. The data we collect
Depending on how you use the Platform, we may collect:
- Identity and contact data — name, email address, phone number, and any details you provide when registering or booking.
- Booking and transaction data — the Events you register for, ticket type and quantity, booking reference, and payment status. (Full card details are handled by Stripe, not by us.)
- Communications data — messages you send us and your marketing preferences.
- Technical and usage data — IP address, device and browser type, and how you interact with the Platform, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
2. How we collect it
We collect data directly from you when you register, book, or contact us; automatically through cookies and analytics as you use the Platform; and occasionally from Organisers or partners where they refer you to an Event.
3. How we use your data and our legal bases
| Purpose | Legal basis (UK GDPR) |
|---|---|
| Processing your Ticket purchase and providing your booking | Performance of a contract |
| Sending transactional messages (confirmations, reminders, changes) | Performance of a contract |
| Passing your booking details to the Organiser | Legitimate interests / performance of a contract |
| Sending you marketing (where you have opted in) | Consent |
| Improving and securing the Platform | Legitimate interests |
| Meeting legal, tax, and accounting obligations | Legal obligation |
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have balanced those against your rights. You can object at any time (see Section 8).
4. Sharing your data with Organisers
This is important, so we set it out plainly.
When you register for or buy a Ticket to an Event, the details needed to fulfil your booking — such as your name, email, phone number, and ticket details — are shared with the Organiser of that Event. This includes brands and partners such as Inspired Dinner Club, Sukhi Wahiwala, BBR, digital rapport®, and others.
The Organiser uses this data to deliver the Event and to communicate with you about it. Once shared, the Organiser is an independent controller of your data and is responsible for how they use it under their own privacy policy. Organisers may add your details to their own customer relationship and marketing system (our SalesMasterHub platform) to send you Event updates and, where permitted, marketing.
You can opt out of an Organiser's marketing at any time using the unsubscribe link in their messages, or by contacting them directly.
5. Other parties we share data with
We use trusted third parties who process data on our behalf under contract:
- Stripe — to process payments securely. See Stripe's own privacy policy for details.
- SalesMasterHub — our customer relationship and messaging platform, used to send transactional and (where consented) marketing email and SMS.
- Hosting, email, and analytics providers — to run and improve the Platform.
We may also disclose data where required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business sale or reorganisation.
We do not sell your personal data.
6. Marketing communications
Transactional messages (booking confirmations, Event reminders, essential updates) are sent as part of delivering your booking and are not marketing.
Marketing messages by email or SMS are only sent where you have given consent, or where the law otherwise permits (for example, the "soft opt-in" for similar Events you have booked). Every marketing message includes an easy way to unsubscribe, and you can change your preferences at any time by contacting us.
7. International transfers
Some of our providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum, so your data receives an equivalent level of protection.
8. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- request correction of inaccurate data;
- request erasure of your data in certain circumstances;
- restrict or object to our processing, including objecting to direct marketing at any time;
- request portability of data you provided to us; and
- withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on it.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us via our contact page. We will respond within one month. Because Organisers are separate controllers, you may also need to contact the relevant Organiser directly for data they hold.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, though we would appreciate the chance to resolve it with you first.
9. Data retention
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described here, including to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. Transaction records are typically retained for [6] years. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or become inactive, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
10. Cookies
The Platform uses cookies and similar technologies to make it work, remember your preferences, and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where shown, our cookie banner. For more detail, see our [Cookie Policy] (if published separately).
11. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to notify you and the ICO of any serious breach where required.
12. Children
The Platform is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always published on the Platform, with the "last updated" date shown above. Material changes will be notified where reasonably practicable.
